State Fair Buttons
Remember when you were a kid and cotton candy on the ferris wheel meant all was right with the world? Those were simpler times. Times we’ve tried to recapture with our state fair buttons. And as the song says, “it’s dollars to donuts that our State Fair is the best state fair in our state.”

On the Avenue: Indy Fringe

Mark your calendars for year five of the Indianapolis Fringe Festival; a big, bold and bodacious celebration of cutting edge visual art, alternative theatre and performance arts.
First Friday will kick off the celebration with the Visual Fringe, a series of non–juried exhibitions of work by area artists accepted on a first–come, first–in basis until the exhibitions are full. On August 13th sit back and enjoy the “The Longest Dinner”, a truly unique dining experience around one long table. Tickets are $50, dinner and live music starts at 6pm, which includes three courses prepared and served slow–food style. Bringing the month to an end is the Theatre Fringe, August 21–30 included 53 performers, 270 shows and six stages. Don’t miss a month–long event that has even grabbed Mayor Greg Ballard’s attention, as he stated, “The festival fills this street with excitement and inspiration, and created an experience that draws in both neighbors and visitors.”
