MIBOR: Is It Time for You?
With so much speculation regarding the current housing market, Dean Johnson recently launched a new campaign for local client, the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® (MIBOR). The campaign features web, print, radio and television advertising that speaks to the confusing and complicated processes of home-buying and selling. MIBOR and Dean Johnson Design were careful to not offer advice to the masses. Rather the ads informed consumers that they should contact a REALTOR® for expert guidance. Opening Reception: This exhibit features works from four painters and one glass artist. Come and see works by glass artist Michael Amis, abstract oil paintings by Kevin Smola, contemporary acrylics by Philip Lynam, abstract–expressive acrylics by Casey Jo Ailes and representational mixed media by Zachary Lopez. This is a wonderful group of artists showing together for the first time on Mass Ave, you won’t want to miss this exhibition. This exhibit is a part of IDADA’s First Friday Art Tour.
Record Store Day
We love music at Dean Johnson. You can find a half dozen iPods littered around the office at any given time. We have accounts at Last.fm and Pandora. We read Mp3 blogs. There are a pair of headphones on every desk. The office stereo is the first thing turned on in the morning. Tuesdays are notorius for emptying wallets when the new releases hit the shelves at Luna. That brings us to Record Store Day. Saturday, April 18, show some love to our favorite neighborhood record store, Luna Music. Luna’s other location, in Broad Ripple, will have lots of music on sale, freebies, live performances, food and limited edition releases especially for Record Store Day.
